At Addison Clark, we work with some really cool companies who are doing awesome things in the Richmond area and beyond. It seemed only fitting that we spotlight these wonderful clients of ours so you can get to known them as well! This week we're featuring a new client of ours, Gumenick Properties. We were hired by Gumenick Properties last month to provide creative marketing services for their Monument Square, Grayson Hill, and Libbie Mill communities in Richmond, Virginia. The Richmond Times-Dispatch recently recognized Gumenick as one of the 2015 Top Workplaces in Richmond. Looks like we're not the only ones who think these guys are pretty cool!
Some background: Gumenick Properties is an award-winning real estate development and management company with operations throughout the Southeast. The company currently owns and operates apartment communities in Florida and Virginia. All are outstanding properties in thriving metropolitan areas that have consistently received recognition for excellence in customer service, appearance and maintenance.
What they do: Gumenick Properties engages in two primary lines of business — apartment community development and operation, and new home building. They are currently working on three vibrant communities in the Richmond area - Monument Square, Grayson Hill, and Libbie Mill. Construction is still on-going in these beautiful home communities, but you can view some of the completed homes for sale on their website. A fun note: Monument Square is right across the street from us, so we have an excellent view of these beautiful homes being built!
Interesting fact about them: In 2000, Gumenick established the Greater Richmond Housing Fund — the only charitable fund in the Richmond region to focus on affordable housing. The fund's primary mission is to support not-for-profit organizations engaged in addressing a broad range of affordable housing issues. Since 2000, Gumenick Properties has contributed close to a million dollars to the Gumenick Greater Richmond Housing Fund. The fund itself has awarded grants worth $778,266 to local institutions since its inception. This dedication to community involvement is what sets Gumenick Properties apart and makes them such an asset to the Richmond community. We're excited to continue working with them in the future!
Keep an eye out for their ads (created by yours truly) in the Richmond Times-Dispatch's Saturday Homes section and digitally on Zillow, Richmond.com, Facebook, and Richmond BizSense. They are also participating in the Parade of Homes this October with a sneak peek in late September. Still want to learn more? Check out their website here.
